Rufi’s Cacao traces its roots to Oaxaca, Mexico, where making chocolate was a cherished family tradition. Rufi learned the art of chocolate-making from her abuelita and passed it on to her daughter, Connie.

 

Inspired by their heritage and love for Oaxacan chocolate, Rufi and Connie founded Rufi’s Cacao. Their small-batch Oaxacan chocolate and other offerings preserve recipes and traditions passed down through generations while inviting others into the joy of savoring chocolate in its most authentic form.

 

Looking ahead, Rufi’s Cacao envisions creating spaces where people can slow down and connect over chocolate—whether gathering for a cup of Oaxacan hot chocolate with traditional pairings or joining workshops to make and enjoy chocolate together. Through both their products and these experiences, Rufi’s Cacao continues to invite others into the love, joy, and tradition that started it all.
